Portrait MTL transforms ordinary event photography into an editorial portrait experience. Using professional lighting, thoughtful direction, and a refined aesthetic, we create images guests genuinely want to keep.
HOW THIS WORKS
01. THE PORTRAIT
Guests step into our portrait space. With gentle direction and professional lighting, we create relaxed, editorial portraits that feel like them, just a little more elevated.
02. THE EDIT
Behind the scenes, each portrait is carefully reviewed and refined by our team. We keep the retouching subtle and intentional, preserving the character and personality of every guest.
03. THE PRINT
Once the portraits are ready, we bring them to life on paper. Each guest receives a high quality, 4×6 B&W portrait, produced right at the event.
04. THE REVEAL
The portraits are displayed throughout the event, creating an unexpected little moment for guests to discover. Seeing themselves transformed from guest to portrait is part of the magic.
05. THE KEEPSAKE
At the end of the night, guests take their portrait home, a personal memento of the celebration and a gift from their host.
06. AFTER THE EVENT
Guests will receive access to the full online gallery.

Q : Is Portrait MTL a photo booth?
A: Not quite. We offer a live editorial portrait studio designed for all your events. There are no props or traditional photo booth setups. Professional lighting and subtle direction help create portraits that feel timeless.
Q : What types of events do you cover?
A: Portrait MTL can be brought to almost any gathering — from weddings and private celebrations to galas, corporate events and brand activations. Each experience is tailored to the event, space and guests.
Q : So you’re not our main Wedding Photographer right?
A: Not at all. Portrait MTL is designed to work alongside your existing photographer and videographer. While they capture the story of your day, we create a dedicated editorial portrait experience for you and your guests.
Q : Are prints included?
A : Yes. Our Portrait Experience package includes professional prints created on-site for your guests to take home.
Q : How do guests receive their portraits?
A : Guests can receive a professionally printed portrait during the event, with digital images made available through an online gallery following the event.
Q : Do you photograph in black & white or colour?
A : Black & white is the signature Portrait MTL look. Every portrait is photographed and carefully finished with a timeless monochrome aesthetic, creating a consistent and distinctive collection from your event.
